Women in STEM
Women in STEM (womeninstem.org) is an international non-profit organization created to support, empower, inspire high school girls to realize their untapped potential in STEM careers, where women are historically undervalued and underrepresented. Our mission is to empower and encourage high school girls to be a part of the movement to increase female representation in STEM. While many organizations focus on teaching young women technical skills or lean towards purely social advocacy, WiSTEM combines the two at a high school level giving young women a more balanced choice.
