The Pursuit of Happiness

What makes a good childhood? – The Good Childhood Blog

This club combats the constant unhealthy motivation towards success disregarding happiness. Too many students give up all of their happiness in order to take harder classes than they can manage. Students should be challenging themselves but not to the point in which they are miserable. The suicide rate in teens has been going up dramatically every year and our club believes teens being pushed too hard and endlessly being in a competition is a main cause. Furthermore, throughout the school we will put up positive messages and inspiration for kids to remember that no matter what, they deserve happiness. We will remind kids to put themselves first. We will organize numerous fun activities and games such as chess, tag and flag football to remind students that they are still just kids and deserve happiness.
