Staples Academic Bowls
This club’s goal is to prepare students for the regional and state buzzer based competitions that will happen throughout the year, with the state competition taking place in March. The competitions this club prepares students for have often been compared to Jeopardy!, making use of similar buzzer systems and similar knowledge to that of Jeopardy! with a more academic approach. This club aims to let students learn more about whatever discipline they choose to study while it also being applicable in competition. With target subjects ranging from chemistry to sports and pop culture, this club aims to expand learning in any and every discipline. Students may compete as often as once a month and there will be practices every week.
