IDEA CT

Inclusion and Diversity through Education and Awareness (IDEA) CT focuses on teaching young kids in the area about diversity and inclusion. Some of our activities include visiting preschools and libraries to teach our appropriate and engaging lesson plans (which we create during club meetings). We also discuss how best to teach children about topics such as identity, empathy, and respect, to achieve our collective goal of making Westport a more inclusive town by utilizing early education. Whether it be through engaging activities, crafts, or question and answer sessions, our goal is to teach young students to be accepting, inclusive individuals!
