Girl Talk

Westport Girl Talk is a chapter branched off of the national organization: Girl Talk. Girl Talk is to inspire all girls to be confident leaders through peer-to-peer mentoring programs. Girl Talk provides a framework where teenage girls can meet together to find strength, learn new skills and create a network of support. Our goals and activities are for Staples high school girls to develop leadership skills as they guide meetings for middle school girls (CMS and BMS) to learn vital skills during their most formative years. Girl Talk helps girls recognize various styles, characteristics and approaches of leadership and then gives them the opportunity to put them into practice. At Girl Talk, there are no limits to girls’ potential and strive to create an environment that inspires, motivates and cultivates confidence and other leadership qualities.
