REFLECTIONS ARTS CONTEST 2025-2026
The theme for the Reflections Contest 2025-2026 is: "I Belong!"
The Reflections Program is the PTA’s cornerstone Arts Program that offers students the opportunity to be recognized on the local, state, and national level for their unique artistic interpretation of the theme. All entries this year can be submitted virtually. Artists are invited to compete in any of the following categories:
- Visual Arts
- Photography
- Music Composition
- Film Production
- Dance Choreography
- Literature
- Accessible Arts (any area)*
*The Accessible Arts category is for students with disabilities, who receive services under IDEA or ADA: Section 504, to have the opportunity and accommodations they may need to participate fully in the program.
The judging criteria are:
- Artistic Merit / Creativity
- Mastery of Medium
- Interpretation of Theme**
**“Interpretation of the Theme” carries more weight than the other two criteria. The Artist’s Statement on the application reflects this and is very important!
First Place winners (to be determined by our local artist judges) advance to the state level, and the top entries from there advance to the national level!
