REFLECTIONS ARTS CONTEST 2024-2025

The theme for the Reflections Contest 2024-2025 is: "Accepting Imperfection" 

The Reflections Program is the PTA’s cornerstone Arts Program that offers students the opportunity to be recognized on the local, state, and national level for their unique artistic interpretation of the theme. All entries this year can be submitted virtually. Artists are invited to compete in any of the following categories: 

- Visual Arts - Photography - Music Composition - Film Production - Dance Choreography - Literature - Special Artists (any area)* 

*The Special Artists category is for students with disabilities, who receive services under IDEA or ADA: Section 504, to have the opportunity and accommodations they may need to participate fully in the program. 

The judging criteria are: 
● Interpretation of the Theme (most weighted criteria) 
● Artistic Merit/Creativity 
● Mastery of the Medium

Any SHS student who is interested in participating should contact the Reflections Committee at shsreflectionscontest@gmail.com for specific category guidelines and a submission packet. 

The submission deadline is Monday, December 2, 2024.
