- Senior Baby Pictures: It's time for Senior BABY Pictures for the 2024 yearbook! Photo submissions are due on Friday, 12/15! Please click here for the link + instructions on how to submit your senior’s baby photo.
- Senior Yearbook Ads: Senior Ads are live and submissions are due by 12/31! Click here for instructions on how to purchase and design yours today, directly on the Jostens site. Parents can also purchase a 1/16 page ad by filling out this Google Form and sending in a check made out to “SHS Yearbook” for $30.

Staff Holiday Luncheon
The Staples High School PTA is proud to celebrate and support our faculty and staff with appreciation events throughout the year, including the upcoming Holiday Staff Appreciation Luncheon. The PTA and parent volunteers work hard to make these events special by offering a selection of delicious lunch offerings. Please consider making a monetary donation to be used for Staff Appreciation events, such as purchasing items for the upcoming Holiday luncheon. All donations are welcome and no donation is too small. Thank you for your generous and ongoing support for our amazing Staples faculty, staff, and administration!
Reflections Arts Contest 2023-24
The theme for this year’s competition is: “I am hopeful because...” The Reflections Program is the PTA’s cornerstone Arts Program that offers students the opportunity to be recognized on the local, state, and national levels for their unique artistic interpretation of the theme. All entries can be submitted virtually this year. Artists are invited to compete in the categories of Film Production, Music Composition, Visual Arts, Dance Choreography, Literature and Photography. Any student who is interested in participating should contact the Reflections Committee at shsreflectionscontest@gmail.com for specific category guidelines and an entry form. The submission deadline is Mon, 12/18.
SLOBs Update
The next meeting is 12/6; contact president@shsslobs.com with questions. Also: SLOBs winter coat drive continues. Winter coats will be collected in the Staples cafeteria until 12/15. Please consider bringing new or gently used coats, gloves, or snow gear for donation.

Show your WRECKER PRIDE by coming out to support our teams at this week’s STAPLES SPORTING EVENTS!
- Please come out to cheer on #1 Staples Football vs. West Haven in the CIAC state championship finals. The game will be held at Arute Field this Saturday, 12/9 at 5pm, at Arute Field at Central Connecticut State University. Tickets must be purchased in advance here.
