Andiamo a Chicago! The Italian Radio Hour, a program of culture, music and conversation, was created by the Italian 4 Honors students. It is one of the five nominees nationwide for the prestigious John Drury High School Radio Awards. The awards ceremony will take place this weekend in Chicago.

In bocca al lupo, ragazzi!
Staples High School German students showcased their skills and knowledge at the annual UCONN German Quiz Bowl, competing against other high school German programs and securing first place! In addition to the competition, students participated in target-language workshops and attended a presentation about opportunities to study German at UCONN, including dual-degree programs in business and engineering.
The deadline for submission is January 15, 2025.
We are very excited and pleased to announce that the Class of 2025 seniors will be photographed by Legacy Studios for your yearbook portrait this Summer and Fall.
For their group exhibit titled, The Immoral Origin and Immortal Legacy of HeLa Cells, Caroline Banks, Uma Choudhury, and Zara Saliba, Staples High School rising juniors, received an honorable mention in their judging room at the 2024 National History Day (NHD) competition.
