We The People

The We The People course follows the same curriculum as the AP U.S. Government and Politics course, but with the requirement of participation in the annual We The People competition in Connecticut. Students enrolled in this course will participate in the We The People program, a nationally prestigious constitutional law contest conducted in a congressional hearing format. The contest at the state level is held in December and at the national level in April in Washington, D.C. See the Staples Program of Studies for more details.
