Westport Public Schools is proud to announce that Staples High School has once again earned a spot among the Top 10 High Schools in Connecticut for student enrollment in the University of Connecticut Early College Experience (ECE) program. For the 2024–2025 academic year, Staples ranks sixth statewide with 354 students enrolled.

Staples High School's library welcomed two distinguished female professionals as part of a Women in STEM event organized by the Science National Honor Society. Students had the opportunity to learn about diverse career paths in science and engineering fields from accomplished women who shared their educational journeys and professional experiences.
