Math Team

Celebrate math by surrounding yourself with others who enjoy it as well. The Math Club is an inclusive group of mathletes who enjoy teaching and learning from each other. Some members participate in the Fairfield County Math League competitions, as well as state and national competitions.

The Fairfield County meets are held at the Wilton HS on the first Wednesday of October, November, December, January, February and March. The state competition is held in April at a high school to be determined.

All interested students are encouraged to come. Competing teams are chosen by a mock meet or run-off using problems from previous meets in the correct category, but anyone interested in attending competitions is welcome. At present, the team needs sophomores and freshmen as the state requirements limit the number of seniors and juniors on the team.

The club currently meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 3:30 pm.
