Standardized Testing

2025 SAT standard administration test dates (subject to change):

March 8, 2025	SHS is NOT a test site
March 2025	CT School Day SAT for all juniors; Students do not need to register for this test.
May 3, 2025	SHS is a test site.
June 7, 2025	SHS is a test site.
August 23, 2025	SHS is NOT a test site
October 4, 2025	SHS is NOT a test site
November 8, 2025	SHS is NOT a test site
December 6, 2025	SHS is a test site

• If you would like SHS as a test site, register early (www.collegeboard.org).
• If you need to change your test, test center, or test date, contact College Board.
• For 2024-25, Staples will be an SAT test site for December, May, and June (standard Saturday administration and 50% extended time).
• For students with disabilities requiring SAT School-Based Testing, Staples is a test site for October, December, and May, in addition to the March CT School Day SAT for all juniors. Space is limited; priority will be given to students in the class of 2025.

April 5, 2025	SHS is NOT a test site
June 14, 2025	SHS is NOT a test site
July 12, 2025	SHS is NOT a test site
September 6, 2025	SHS is NOT a test site
October 25, 2025	SHS is NOT a test site
December 6, 2025	SHS is NOT a test site

• Register at www.actstudent.org.
• Staples is not an ACT test site for standard Saturday administration or National Extended Time testing.
• For students with disabilities requiring Special (school-based) Testing, Staples is a test site for September, December, February, and April. Space is limited; priority will be given to students in the class of 2025.

Standardized Testing with Accommodations

Students who receive testing accommodations at Staples through an IEP or 504 plan may request accommodations on College Board exams (PSAT 8/9, PSAT 10, PSAT/NMSQT, SAT, SAT Subject Tests, and AP) and the ACT. It is the College Board and/or ACT that decides whether or not a student qualifies for accommodations on these tests, not Staples High School.

Some testing accommodations can be provided on the national test date; some testing accommodations can only be provided through school-based testing. Staples High School will administer school-based testing for the following dates in 2024-25:

• ACT: September, December, February, April
• SAT: October, December, May (plus March CT School Day SAT)

Date availability is subject to change; look for communication from ACT, College Board, and Staples High School. Space is limited for school-based testing; priority will be given to students in the class of 2025.
